Why People in Barrie Reach Out
This isn't about what's wrong with you. It's about understanding what's happened to you.
You might replay conversations, compare yourself to others, or almost make a decision and then pull back. You've been trying to figure this out for a long time, and it's tiring.
The loop gets familiar: hold it together, hit a wall, think harder, second-guess yourself, start over. At Driftwood Psychotherapy, right here in Barrie, we slow that pattern down enough to see what's actually going on.

Why Choose Driftwood Psychotherapy in Barrie
This isn't a practice that stays with skills and coping strategies. The work gets underneath what's driving the pattern, not just what it looks like from the outside.
Joshua Wong, RP, RMFT, MDiv, brings 14+ years of clinical experience, including seven years working in Northern communities specializing in generational, cultural, and historical trauma. He was diagnosed with autism and ADHD in adulthood, and that lived experience shapes how the work happens here, not as a credential at the bottom of the page, but as part of why clients who are tired of explaining themselves often feel, fairly quickly, like they don't have to.
We're not here to hand you answers from above. We're here to get curious with you.
